The Relocity Maps application allows you to create, copy, paste, and manage layers at any time. If you're working with a map associated with a Work Order, these layers are immediately displayed to the customer via the Explore tab of the mobile application.

You have the power to add as many map layers as you want to a map. Depending on the type of map you choose, your layer customization options will change.

How to add a new layer to any map

  1. Open the map you want to add a layer too

  2. Select "Add Layer" on the left hand side

  3. Name your layer and select the Type of layer

  4. Click Save

The layer will be created and depending on the Type you have chosen, you will either be directed back to the main editing screen or the editing screen for that specific layer.

Adding a Data Content layer to a map

Following the steps above (Add Layer -> Enter Name and Type -> Save), Data Content layers are seen under the "Type" dropdown menu. Depending on the map you're reviewing you may see multiple Data Content options.
